NARRATIVE: An International Truck pulling a loaded grain trailer was southbound on
Rolette County Road 15 approaching the intersection with 89th Street Northeast. A 1999
Chevrolet Silverado was eastbound on 89th Street Northeast and failed to yield. The semi-truck
struck the Silverado on its driver’s side. The Silverado entered the west ditch. The driver of the
Silverado was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene. The semi-truck entered the east
ditch and caught on fire. The driver of the semi-truck sustained serious injuries and was
transported to SMP St. Kateri in Rolla ND.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
