Minot State University release
CROOKSTON, MN -- Minot St. earned a 2-1 win over Minn.-Crookston Sunday on the road at UMC Soccer Field.
The win improved Minot St.'s record to 1-0-0 overall. The Beavers look to continue their road trip this week, playing at Montana State Billings on Thursday. Sept. 7.
How it Happened
Minot St. opened the scoring when Yossi Villagrana scored her first goal of the season in the ninth minute.
The Golden Eagles evened the game on a goal from Brooklyn Fischbach in the 69th minute, assisted by Marsia Green and Autumn Rabe.
Minot St. then busted up the 1-1 draw on Jessica Groen's 71st-minute goal, her first of the season.
Neither team scored again in the game.
