Police Identify Deceased Man in Southwest Minot

Minot Police release


The deceased man found Thursday morning in southwest Minot has been identified
as 30-year-old Brandon J. Kvame of Minot, according to the Minot Police
Department.
“The autopsy has been completed, however the toxicology report is still being
conducted,” Investigations Commander Capt. Dale Plessas said. “The results of
toxicology could take several months.”
“We will not have a definitive cause of death until the toxicology report as been
finalized,” Plessas said.


Original Release:

August 24th, 2023, at 6:52 a.m. units were dispatched to the 700 block of 31st Ave
SW for reports of an individual lying motionless on the boulevard.
Once on scene, officers determined that the 30-year-old male was deceased. The
cause of death is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the man is known but will not be released at this time.
The Minot Police Department treats all unattended deaths as suspicious until proven
otherwise.
