Six Occupants Exit Safely

A mobile home fire in southeast Minot on Thursday damaged three structures and forced six people to exit the home.

Minot Fire Department units were dispatched around 4:40 p.m. Thursday to Parkview Mobile Home Park for reports of a mobile home on fire with one individual trapped inside.

Once on scene at 625 15th St SE, fire crews made rescue a priority. It was determined that five occupants had escaped the structure unharmed by exiting through a bedroom window, and another occupant exited safely through the mobile home’s back door.

Crews then battled the heavy fire conditions. Three structures were involved in the incident; two sustained substantial damage. Both mobile homes involved in the fire were searched and cleared of all occupants by firefighters.

No one was injured during the incident. The fire remains under investigation.
