Vehicle No. 1: 2015 Ford F-250
Driver No. 1: Male, 63, Douglas, ND - Uninjured
Restraints: Seatbelt in Use
Charges: Failed to yield to an emergency vehicle
Vehicle No. 2: 2022 Ford Explorer
Driver No. 2: Female, 31, Minot, ND - Minor injuries
Restraints: Seatbelt in Use
Charges: none
NARRATIVE: The F-250 was turning left to travel northbound on 3rd St SE. The Explorer, a
Minot Police Department patrol vehicle, was traveling eastbound with emergency lights and
sirens activated responding to an emergency call. As the Explorer entered the intersection the
F-250 turned left into the Explorer striking it on the passenger side. Both vehicles came to a
rest in the northeast corner of the intersection.
The crash remains under investigation of the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
