Zhaina Moya has been named the new director of the Minot Public Library.
Moya, who had been serving as interim director, was selected by the Minot Public
Library Board.
“The board was pleased with the level of applicants we had and we are excited to
see the future of the Minot Public Library under the direction of Zhaina,” said
Library Board President Mark Lyman. “Her proven abilities, level of engagement
with patrons, and concern for all within our community will make her an excellent
leader in the library community.”
Moya begins her director duties immediately. She was adult services librarian prior
to serving as interim director.
“The Library Board was delighted that we had such a strong and qualified internal
candidate,” Board Vice-President Carrie Evans said. “Zhaina is a strong leader who
will direct our library with integrity, passion, and intelligence.”
