Minot -- The Minot Park District kicks off their summer Movie in the Park lineup this
Friday, June 2 at Oak Park.
Movies in the Park is a free activity where families and individuals are welcome to enjoy new
blockbusters and old favorites on select Friday evenings this summer. Movie in the Park are
played on the lawn in front of the Oak Park Amphitheater and begin at sunset (around 9:30 pm).
Minot Parks encourages guests to bring blankets or lawn chairs, as well as bug spray.
“Movie in the Park has become a tradition in Minot and we are happy to be a part of it and
thankful for our community partners that make it possible.” says Elly DesLauriers, Executive
Director of the Minot Park District. “We want to welcome everyone out to Oak Park this Friday,
June 2nd for our first movie of the season Minions the Rise of Gru.”
