MINOT -- AgCountry Farm Credit Services is proud to announce that it has awarded the Trinity Health Foundation $20,000 as a recipient of the Rural Community Grant Fund.
Representatives with AgCountry Farm Credit Services recently presented a check to Trinity Health Foundation and Trinity Health First Response Ground Team with the grant funds that assisted in purchasing a new ambulance.
“AgCountry is proud to provide grant funds to help them purchase a new ambulance and increase the number of physical ground ambulances that are available to serve the region,” says Todd Erickson, SVP-Producer Markets with AgCountry Farm Credit Services.
First Response Ground Ambulance currently has six ambulances, but with one only able to be used for standby events, they are pursuing a 2021 Crestline Type 3 ambulance for expanded capability and to better serve the region with interfacility transports. Responding to 11,000 calls annually, mainly in Ward County, but also responding to Advanced Life Support intercept requests in McHenry, Mountrail, Renville, Bottineau, Burke, and McLean Counties.
“As the area’s only fully staffed ALS service providing service 24 hours a day seven days a week, they also support local fire, police, and sheriff’s departments. An additional ambulance with newer technology will increase their efficiency and positively impact how they provide essential life-critical care in the community,” Erickson adds. “AgCountry believes it’s important to give back to the community.”
AgCountry Farm Credit Services, Farm Credit Services of Mandan and AgriBank, established the Rural Community Grant Fund to assist in the implementation and development of projects and programs in communities and rural areas in western North Dakota which have been impacted by mineral exploration.
