BISMARCK – A legislative bill that would require daycare providers to have liability insurance resurfaced in the North Dakota State House after failing Thursday, and failed again Friday.
House Bill 1298 would have mandated liability insurance for early childhood programs such as daycare.
The bill failed by a vote of 60 to 33 Thursday, and failed again Friday by a vote of 49 to 44. A video of the discussion can be found here.
