NARRATIVE: The Chevrolet Colorado was traveling westbound on Highway 52 behind the Freightliner. The Chevrolet Colorado moved into the eastbound lane and began to overtake the Freightliner. A Chevrolet Impala was traveling in the eastbound lane. The Chevrolet Colorado struck the Impala head on. The Chevrolet Colorado then struck the Freightliner before coming to rest on the north shoulder of the roadway. The driver of Freightliner was uninjured. The two other drivers involved were extricated from the vehicles. The driver of the Chevrolet Colorado was transported by ambulance to St Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey then flown to Trinity Health in Minot. The driver of the Chevrolet Impala was pronounced deceased on scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
