| BISMARCK -- Noth Dakota State Representative Dr. Rick Becker releases the following statement, announcing his candidacy for the United States Senate, after submitting more than double the number of signatures needed to qualify for the ballot: “America is on the precipice of losing everything. Inflation is through the roof, crime rates are skyrocketing, and the current administration seems more concerned with funding their careers in politics than they are with addressing our crippling national debt. We can no longer afford to maintain the status quo if we wish to put North Dakota and our country back on the path to prosperity. We need to elect uncompromising, bold leaders to the United State Senate who will rein in the spending, reel back the over-regulation, and take on the corrupt globalist agenda headfirst. That’s why I am proud to announce my Independent grassroots campaign for the U.S. Senate. John Hoeven is wrong for North Dakota. His willingness to reach across the aisle and compromise away our constitutionally protected rights to advance his career in Washington has largely contributed to the record-high inflation that is currently crushing hardworking North Dakotans.
