The North Dakota Highway Patrol said that a man died in a head on collision near Drayton on Friday evening.
According to the NDHP, Gregory Emanuelson, 65, was driving an Expedition westbound on Highway 66, and in entering the eastbound lane, hit a Jeep, which Gregory Hoppe, 24, was driving.
The Expedition came to final rest in the north ditch with the Jeep coming to rest in the south ditch.
Hoppe received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks by Drayton Ambulance Service. Emanuelson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on-scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
