MINOT — Street sweeping crews from the City of Minot will soon begin sweeping in residential areas after being delayed this year because of the storms that dumped up to 48 inches of snow on Minot.
Beginning May 24, crews will work to clean the four quadrants of the city, using Broadway and Burdick Expressway as dividing lines. Within the four quadrants, crews will be working in different areas. Residents are encouraged to restrict on-street vehicle parking and, if possible, place their garbage cans on the berm instead of in the street when sweepers are scheduled to be in their quadrant.
Street sweeping schedule for 2022:
If crews finish cleaning a quadrant sooner than expected, they will move into the next quadrant ahead of schedule. Other Street Department crews will be working to fix potholes with the department’s new asphalt recycler.
