BISMARCK — Marvin Lepp of Bismarck announced he is running for Secretary of State of North Dakota.
Lepp is originally from Lehr and grew up outside of Bismarck.
In a statement, he said, "Over the years since I left the ranch, I have worked in multiple industries. Employed by both family owned companies, as well as corporate enterprises. These experiences have given me a better understanding of many aspects of the business world."
Current Secretary of State Al Jaeger announced last year he would be retiring at the end of his term in 2022. North Dakota State Representative Michael Howe, R-Dis. 22, Casselton, announced back in January that he is also running for Secretary of State of North Dakota.
