ROCKLAKE — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man died Sunday evening when a vehicle hit him.
According to the NDHP, a Suburban was traveling on Highway 281 about 8 miles northwest of Rocklake and struck Charles Huovinen, 65, Rocklake, who was slouched in the lane of traffic on his knees.
Huovinen suffered fatal injuries from the crash. Occupants in the vehicle suffered no injuries due to the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
