BUXTON — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man was injured Monday afternoon when he collided with a snowplow on I-29.
The snowplow was traveling north actively performing snow removal duties. Its speed was reduced due to that work and poor visibility. Lance Johnson, 25, Mayville, was driving a Cadillac north and drove into the rear of the International.
Johnson sustained minor injuries.
Weather conditions at the time were strong winds and blowing snow, with significantly reduced visibility. Some drifting was occurring on the road.
The crash remains under investigation.
