MINOT — The Minot Fire Department says a person suffered burns outside an apartment building in northwest Minot Thursday evening.
Firefighters responded around 9 p.m. for a report of a person who appeared to be on fire outside an apartment building. The fire was out when firefighters arrived. The person was transported to Trinity Health for burn injuries.
The fire was contained to the individual and did not spread to the apartment building. The other residents in the building did not need to evacuate.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
