FARGO—The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the Minot man who was struck while crossing an intersection in Fargo has died.

Robert Powers, 45, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash on Dec. 13 and was taken to Sanford Hospital. His identity was not known at the time of the accident.

On Dec. 14, he was declared brain dead. Power was kept on life support until he was positively identified and his family notified. His family then made the decision to donate his organs, which occurred on Friday, Dec. 17.

The crash remains under investigation by NDHP and Fargo Police.
