Minot’s Caitlyn Vogel was named runner-up in the Miss USA pageant Monday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The crown went to Miss Kentucky, Elle Smith. If for any reason Smith is unable to fulfill her duties as Miss USA 2021, Vogel will take her place.
Vogel is one of few women who have also reigned as Miss North Dakota Teen USA.
