MINOT—Fire destroyed a mobile home in northwest Minot Sunday morning.
The Minot Fire Department says it was dispatched to the Northland Mobile Home Park at 11:24 a.m. for a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames exiting the roof of the mobile home. Fire department personnel extinguished the blaze by 12:17 p.m.
One resident was home at the time of the fire and had safely evacuated the structure when firefighters arrived on scene. The resident was treated on scene for minor smoke inhalation.
A pet cat died in the fire; there were no other injuries in the incident. Three engines, one ladder truck, and one command vehicle responded to the fire.
