According to the Minot Public Schools website and the Ward County website, absentee ballots are already available in the Ward County Auditor/Treasurer’s office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, please note the Auditor/Treasurer’s office is closed Friday, Nov. 26, for the holiday.
Applications for absentee ballots can also be found on the county’s elections page. Applications are accepted in person or via mail, email, or fax. With the actual election day of Tuesday, Dec. 7, voters who wish to vote absentee may find the email, fax, or in-person application options to be the most timely at this point.
