NARRATIVE: The white Malibu was westbound on State Highway 5. Sossamon was
eastbound on State Highway 5. The Malibu entered the eastbound lanes of traffic and struck
Sossamon head on. The driver of the Malibu suffered fatal injuries from the crash while those
in the pickup; Baldwin and Sossamon, suffered serious injuries. Sossamon and Baldwin were
brought to Langdon Prairie Health to be treated for their injuries. The name will be released
at a later date for the driver of the Malibu. The crash remains under investigation by the
NDHP.
