NARRATIVE: A 2010 Chevy Silverado was southbound on Highway 83 approaching the
intersection with Highway 23. A 2017 Toyota Yaris was attempting to cross Highway 83 from
west to east. The front of the Chevy Silverado struck the driver side of the Toyota Yaris. Both
vehicles came to rest in the median. The driver of the Chevy Silverado did not sustain injuries.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris was pronounced deceased on scene. The passenger of the
Toyota Yaris sustained serious injuries and was transported to Trinity in Minot by ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
