Jennifer Kleen has accepted the position of Communication and Engagement
Manager for the City of Minot.
Kleen has 13 years of experience in marketing and media and will join the Public
Information Office in a leadership role in late September.
“Jennifer will be a great addition to the City of Minot organization and we look
forward to her and her team elevating communication and engagement with our
residents to an even higher level,” City Manager Harold Stewart said.
Kleen graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast
Communication. Her previous experience includes serving as the Executive Director
of the Greater Minot Zoological Society, where she built donor relationships and
promoted facilities in line with modern zoological practices. Kleen was also formerly
a reporter and anchor for KX News.
“The City’s Public Information Office has grown and prospered a great deal and I
am excited to be part of the organization,” Kleen said. “I look forward to promoting
citizen engagement and sharing my passion and experience telling the stories of the
men and women who work to further develop our thriving community.”
