Minot Park District release 

Minot - The Minot Park District is opening the Roosevelt Park Pool to the dogs! The Soggy Doggy Pool Paw-ty is on Monday, September 4, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. 

 “Soggy Doggy is an event we look forward to every year.” Says Elly DesLauriers, Executive Director of the Minot Park District. “It’s great to see familiar faces that come back to the event year after year. It has become a tradition for many.”  

Minot Parks Soggy Doggy Pool Paw-ty is free to attend. Minot Parks partners with the Souris Valley Animal Shelter to collect goodwill donations & all proceeds will be given to SVAS. The animal shelter will also be accepting donation requests, currently their most high demand items are: bleach, cat litter, dog treats, and canned cat food.  

Please note that you are required to show proof of rabies vaccination and expiration of vaccine for your dog (rabies tags are valid). Leashes are mandatory when the dog is not in the pool. You must maintain full control over your pet at all times. Small dogs will swim in the shallow end of the pool.
