NARRATIVE: Motorcycle was southbound on Highway 8 near mile marker 96 in Dunn
County, about 13 miles north of Richardton. For an unknown reason the motorcycle applied
hard braking and veered to the right. Motorcycle ran off the roadway into the west ditch. The
driver was ejected off the motorcycle when the motorcycle began overturning. Driver was
transported by ambulance to CHI hospital in Dickinson for serious injuries. Crash remains
under investigation.
