Where: 9th Ave SE, 1 mile west and 1 mile south of Strausburg
When: 7/5/2023, between midnight and 6:00am

Weather Conditions: Seasonal, dry, cloudy, near 50 degrees Fahrenheit
Crash Involvement: Single vehicle rollover, driver is the only occupant.

NARRATIVE: The driver was traveling from Strausburg, ND, presumably heading back to
Pollock, SD on gravel roads. The vehicle crested a hill, at a high rate of speed, where the
driver lost control on the downslope of the hill. The vehicle entered the west ditch and
overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its roof, facing west. The driver was wearing a seat
belt and was not ejected. The driver succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
