The Minot Police Department is releasing the names of the involved parties in this fatality crash. The motorcycle was driven by Kory S. Kalamaha, 56 yr old of Max, ND. Kalamaha was pronounced deceased at Trinity Hospital. The vehicle was driven by Timothy A. Glaser, 66 yr old of Lansford, ND. Glaser was cited for Stop Sign/Yield Sign Violation. This crash remains under investigation by the Minot Police Department and ND Highway Patrol.
Original Release 5/22/2023:
On May 22, 2023, at 1:02 PM, Minot Central Dispatch received a call about an injury accident involving a car and a motorcycle. The investigation determined a motorcycle, ridden by a 56-year-old male, was traveling southbound on S. Broadway approaching 40th Ave SW. An eastbound vehicle, intending to turn north, was crossing the southbound lanes when it was struck by the motorcycle in the intersection. The 56 yr old motorcycle rider from Max, was transported to Trinity Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. The 66 yr old driver of the vehicle was uninjured. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is assisting our department with the investigation. Names will be withheld pending the investigation and notification of kin.
