NARRATIVE: Vehicle 1, a Kawasaki motorcycle was northbound on 8th Ave SW.
Vehicle 2, a Ford Explorer was westbound on 5th St SW. The motorcycle collided with the
Explorer in the middle of the uncontrolled intersection, striking it in the front left quarter
panel. The driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the vehicle and sustained lethal injuries.
The driver of the Ford Explorer was not injured. This crash is still under investigation.
