What: Injury  

Where: Hwy 73 near mile marker 2, approximately 18 miles east of Watford /city, ND  

When: April 20, 2023, at approximately 0737 CST 

Road Conditions: Icy  

Weather Conditions: flurries  

Type of Crash: One vehicle roll over  

Agencies Involved: North Dakota Highway Patrol, McKenzie County Sheriff's Office, Mandaree Ambulance, McKenzie County Ambulance, Sanford Air med, Keene Fire and Quick Response Unit.  

Vehicle No. 1: 2011 Jeep Wrangler  

Driver No. 1: 26 year old, male, Buda, TX – Serious life threatening injuries  

Restraints: Not in use  

NARRATIVE: The Jeep was traveling westbound on Hwy 73. The Jeep lost control, entered south ditch, and rolled. The driver was ejected and sustained serious life threatening injuries. The driver was taken by ambulance to McKenzie County Hospital then flown to Trinity Health in Minot.  

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
