The Beulah Police Department and Mercer County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a local business (Thursday)for a report of shots fired with 2 individuals being hit. While responding a Beulah Police Officer was able to initiate a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. A male subject was subsequently brought into custody.
Mercer County deputies and Hazen Police Officer. Arrived on scene and assisted 2 patients with medical interventions however 1 male subject was pronounced dead at scene.
Beulah Police Department along with Mercer County SO requested the ND Burrau of Criminal Investigation to assist in investigating. All actors have been accounted for and NO immediate danger to the community.
