NARRATIVE: The Buick was northbound on US 81 when the driver drove over a long patch of ice and lost control of her vehicle. The Buick slid into the south bound lane and and was struck by the semi in a right angle manner on the passenger side. The driver of the Buick suffered fatal injuries due to the crash and Flores-Pacheco suffered minor injuries. The name will be released at a later date for the deceased driver.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
