NARRATIVE: A Pontiac Bonneville was traveling westbound on Highway 15 when the vehicle crossed over the center line. The driver over-corrected and left the roadway entering the north ditch. The Bonneville overturned in the snow filled ditch and landed on its roof. The driver was initially transported by Northwood Ambulance and was intercepted by Altru Ambulance while in route to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. The driver was pronounced deceased while in route to Altru Hospital from injuries caused by the collision. The driver’s name will be released at a later date.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
