At 1203 hrs. Officers responded to the intersection of S. Broadway and Burdick Expy. W for an accident with possible injuries. A pickup and trailer driving northbound struck the eastbound traffic signal knocking it down. The traffic signal struck two other vehicles when it fell. The driver of the striking vehicle, Matthew Mclain, was cited for Care Required in Operating a Motor Vehicle. One of the passengers in Mclain’s vehicle was transported to Trinity Hospital with non-life threatening .
