DOUGLAS — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man died and two girls were injured near Douglas Friday morning.
According to the NDHP, the 42-year-old man, Ryder, was traveling on Ward County Road 24 with two 12-year-old girls when he encountered a slow-moving row crop sprayer. The man drove into the ditch to avoid it, but the vehicle hit an approach and flipped.
The driver was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. The girls sustained serious injuries. One was transported to Trinity Hospital by ambulance, the other was transported by helicopter.
This crash is under investigation.
