ARDOCH — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a person died in a head-on collision with a semi Thursday morning.
According to the NDHP, the semi and a SUV were traveling in opposite directions on U.S. Highway 81 and were negotiating the curve near Ardoch when the SUV entered the other lane and struck the semi head-on.
The driver of the SUV suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the semi was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
