SHELDON — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says two man were injuried in a head on collision near Sheldon Saturday night.
According to the NDHP, Timothy Mark, 74, Sheldon, was stopped waiting to make a left turn into his residence when Jeffrey Grant, 68, Sheldon, drove into the oncoming side of the road and struck the Mark's vehicle head on.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, and both men sustained injuries. Grant was transported by Lisbon Ambulance to Lisbon Area Health Services for treatment. Mark was treated on scene and then taken by family for treatment also in Lisbon.
After investigation Grant was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
