MINOT — The Ward County Sheriff's Department says they found the body of a person Tuesday morning just south of Minot outside of city limits, along Highway 83.
According to the press release, their investigation indicates the person was traveling south on Highway 83, became stuck in the center median, and attempted to walk towards home.
An autopsy is pending with North Dakota State Medical Examiner.
The identity of the person is being withheld to give the family time to make notifications.
