Property Damage at Railroad Crossing

CASSELTON—A pickup struck a railroad road crossing device shortly before noon on Thursday. The accident occurred two miles south of Casselton on Highway 18.   According to a North Dakota Highway Patrol report, a 2011 GMC Sierra driven by Trevor Altman, 44, Fargo, struck the automatic crossing device when his pickup ran off the road. He and his passenger were not injured.  The report also says a 2004 BNSF locomotive was involved in the […]
