City of Minot release
The Minot Fire Department was dispatched to 101 8th Ave SE at 2:04 p.m. Sunday for a report of a
structure fire.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and found heavy smoke and fire from the two-stall
attached garage.
The firefighters were able to enter the garage and extinguish the fire. The crews contained
the fire to the garage, preventing the fire from spreading to the attached duplex.
Crews from all five fire stations responded to the fire.
No injuries were reported; the fire is still under investigation.
