BISMARCK - Minot State fell 27-23 to Mary on Saturday afternoon on the road at MDU Resources Community Bowl in the Battle of the Big Lake.
The Marauders improved to 1-8 on the year and 1-7 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play, while the Beavers fell to 1-8 overall and 1-8 in conference matchups.
Minot State put together a strong performance on the ground, racking up 236 rushing yards while averaging 4.4 yards per carry and out-rushing Mary by 135 yards.
