MINOT – Minot State Athletics is proud to partner with Scheels to host a special social event on Monday, August 28 – “Meet The Beavers” night.
This fun-filled evening will take place at Scheels’ parking lot at the Dakota Square Mall from 5-7 p.m. Members of the Minot State football, volleyball, soccer, and cross-country teams, and the Beaver coaching staffs, will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs, and pass out free tickets for Minot State’s home football opener on Thursday, August 31.
“We are excited to partner with Scheels to kick off our 2023 fall sports season,” Janna McKechnie, Minot State’s Assistant Athletic Director of External Operations said. “Scheels is a great partner and community supporter.
“We are excited to get into our fall season and have lots of fun things planned!”
Community partners for this fun-filled special event include Scheels, CashWise Foods, Coke-a-Cola, Morelli’s Distributing, and Dot’s Pretzels.
There will be free food, and everyone who will get a chance to meet the Beavers’ fall sports student-athletes. Fans also will get free tickets for Minot State football’s season opener on Thursday night, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. at First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium.
Also, fans in attendance will be able to register for youth soccer and recreation volleyball for 4th and 5th grades.
There will be loads of give-a-ways and outdoor games to play, photo opportunities with the Beaver student-athletes, kids can sign up for the new Buckshots Kit’s Club, and fans will get discounts on Minot State apparel at Scheels.
