NARRATIVE:
On July 9, 2023 at approximately 3:41 AM CST, a single-vehicle rollover crash involving
multiple injuries occurred in Rolette County on BIA RD 7. The location was approximately
three miles south of Saint John ND. A Chevy Silverado was southbound on BIA RD 7. The
Silverado was passing another motorist and negotiating a right curve. The pickup went off the
road to the east, overcorrected, crossed both lanes and entered the west ditch. The pickup
rotated clockwise on the road, entered the ditch and rolled.
The driver, Damian, fled the scene. Landon and Terry’ce (passengers) were ejected and found
on the ground nearby the pickup unconscious. The third passenger, Tuff, was found outside
the pickup sitting and conscious. Landon was transported to IHS in Belcourt, Terry’ce was
transported to Trinity in Minot and Tuff was later transported to IHS in Belcourt by a friend.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol
