Dickinson – Stark County Emergency Management will have technicians throughout the county conducting yearly maintenance on all of the outdoor warning sirens beginning Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 and may take up to several days. During this maintenance, the sirens will sound to ensure they are properly functioning. Citizens should not be alarmed as this is only part of the maintenance process. In the event there is severe weather in the area, the maintenance will be stopped. If there are any updates related to siren maintenance or postponements of the maintenance due to weather conditions, they will be posted on the Stark County Emergency Services Facebook page.
