(MINOT—Trinity Health Outpatient Nutrition Services will host a free grocery store tour for people affected by diabetes Tuesday, March 14, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the original MarketPlace Foods, 1930 South Broadway.
Shopping for the right foods is critical to managing diabetes. In this tour, participants will learn what foods to look for and how to read and understand the components of a food label, including total carbohydrates, sugar, fiber and sugar alcohols.
Space is limited. RSVP is required by calling 857-5268 by March 13. Participants are instructed to meet at the east entrance of MarketPlace Foods, near the deli.
