Restraints: Seatbelt worn NARRATIVE: The Nissan was eastbound on US Highway 2, attempting to turn left, northbound on North Dakota Highway 1. The Toyota was westbound on US Highway 2. Battistoni failed to yield the right of way, entered the intersection, and the right side of the Nissan struck the front center of the Toyota. Battistoni was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks by Lakota Ambulance Service. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

NARRATIVE: The Harley Davidson motorcycle was southbound on Richland County Road 8 at 72nd St SE. The motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway, entering the west ditch. The motorcycle rolled and caught on fire after coming to rest. The driver was immediately given CPR by the first witness to come across the crash. The driver was not wearing a helmet and suffered life threatening injuries from the crash. The driver was taken by ambulance from the scene to the Breckenridge Hospital. He was later flown to Sanford Health in Fargo by Sanford AirMed. He remains hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver was arrested for DUI. The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.

NARRATIVE: The S10 was travelling northbound on ND Highway 1 when it entered the east ditch. Landsem overcorrected and the vehicle crossed the centerline, tripped, and rolled an undetermined number of times, coming to rest in the west ditch. Landsem, who was unrestrained, was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Vehicle No. 1: 2001 GMC Yukon
Driver No. 1: Marshall Phillip Thol, 48-year-old male, Havana, ND, injured. Restraints: No seat belt

NARRATIVE: The GMC Yukon was southbound on ND State Highway 32 at mile marker 4. The Yukon crossed the center line and overcorrected. The vehicle crossed the right fog line and drove partially into the west ditch. Thol over corrected to the left and entered the east ditch. The Yukon overturned with Thol being ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side in the east ditch. Thol was not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries. Thol was taken by ambulance from the scene and was intercepted by Sanford AirMed. Thol was flown to Sanford Health in Fargo and is hospitalized with serious injuries. The Yukon was totaled in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
