WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer, Congressman Kelly Armstrong, and Governor Doug Burgum today issued the following statements after the National Park Service announced the appointment of Angie Richman as Superintendent of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park (TRNP).
“We are working to advance important priorities at the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, having secured $39 million for the repair of the south unit’s scenic loop while also pressing officials across multiple agencies to expedite the repair process,” said Senator Hoeven, a member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. “We will continue these efforts with Superintendent Richman, and look forward to working with her to complete this repair and other improvements to the park as soon as possible.”

I look forward to working with you in your new role to address the maintenance backlog, continuously improve the park’s experience, and expand access to North Dakota’s national treasure,” said Senator Cramer.
