MINOT — The Minot Police Department and The Station Coffee – Urban Gourmet, at 1303 South Broadway, are hosting their next Coffee with a Cop event on Wednesday, Feb. 23., 9 a.m. to noon.
Coffee with a Cop started in 2011 with the Hawthorne, Calif. Police Department, with events expanding to all 50 states and 26 other countries. These events have no scripts, speeches, or agendas. Just the opportunity for members of the community to engage in friendly and informal conversation with area law enforcement officers about what matters to them. The Minot Police Department has participated in several Coffee with a Cop events at various coffee businesses in Minot, beginning in 2016.
