And now it's time for training camp today with Neil Roberts and the Minnesota Vikings.
Neil Roberts
Viking running back C.J. Ham has been a wanted commodity for some time. This goes back to coming out of high school in Duluth. Now head football coach at Minor State Mike Aldrich, C.J. tells me while he is coaching in Sioux Falls at Augustana that he helped recruit you to come there. Tell fans all that unfolded.
C.J. Ham
Coach Aldrich was a great coach and, you know, he recruited me. That's really all that is. And, you know, it was. We still have a relationship to this day. He'll reach out and we'll talk a little bit. And I wish him all the best in all the success and might not. And I still love him to death.
Neil Roberts
He tells me, maybe stretch a little bit, but Duluth Hawks, not your go on there. So he was really proud of that moment. When you say you're gonna leave Duluth it come there and it's very a special moment for you to write to get out of the town your high school and go experience life somewhere else for sure.
C.J. Ham
Augie was a great fit and that coaching staff brought me in and I felt comfortable. They had big plans for me and, you know, I just felt comfortable going there and being with them and getting out of Duluth.

With Vikings running back, C.J. Ham and C.J. already are seventh season in the NFL. I forget the average running back life three years or something like that. So you've had a great career already. And like you mentioned in our other report, you're always doing what the team needs you to do and you still look like you're in tip top shape. How much longer would like to play in the NFL if you thought about that play?
C.J. Ham
As long as my body and my mind wants to. I don't really have a number of how many years I want to play or how many years I think I have left. I'm just going out and competing every year.
Neil Roberts
How you feel feeling here? 2022?
C.J. Ham
I'm feeling great.
