The Dakotan:
And now it's time for Spring Fever with the Twins with Neil Roberts from Fort Myers, Florida.

Neil Roberts:
He hit another 30 home runs in 2021. He now has 161 on his career. Miguel Sano joins and Miguel tell us about last year a little bit and the batting averages up and down a little bit. But man, you had a lot of power still. What are you working on this spring?

Miguel Sano:
This spring, I've be working with my body and try to control more the ball right field. And I put a lot of effort to try to lose about 20 and 25 pounds. And I prepare myself for the whole season. So I play the whole game and and try to be healthy.

Neil Roberts:
What was the key to losing 20, 25 pounds was it diet exercise, a combination of everything.

Miguel Sano:
Yeah, I work really hard in one Palm Beach and one other program, my agent of Rumi. And you know, I do really healthy and I put, like I say, a lot of effort every day to try to control myself, my mentality and try to work the more hard I can every day. You know, I've been working six hours a day and right now everybody can see the difference with Miguel Sano from last year and that's something we be looking for.

Neil Roberts:
All right. Hey, we'll talk about an influential vet no longer in the clubhouse when we come back.

Miguel Sano:
You know, he's not here he's the other team. But that's part of baseball and the my season, a lot of good stuff in the last winter where I live, right? Well, he try to help me all the time. And now all the stuff I learned I put on with the young players and their knowledge is a different person, different man. And I appreciate everything he told me.

Neil Roberts:
I bet he helped with the mental and physical both, right?

Miguel Sano:
Yeah. Bill, ball. Who a along with my mentality and my physical and his body, my water. That's your too, Bill. We have a lot of talking in his phone. And, you know, we put out, like I said, a lot of effort together and we work hard.
